Why This Work Matters

Many families struggle to find swim instruction that is:

  • patient and understanding
  • consistent and structured
  • designed for their child’s or loved one’s needs

Too often, swimmers are left out or underserved.

This work exists to change that.

Swimming is not just a skill.
It is a life-saving necessity.

This Season

Inclusive and adaptive swim lessons are currently paused for the remainder of 2026 as Coach Marla undergoes treatment for breast cancer.

This work remains a central part of the mission and will return as part of the Mini Nautical Center, where swimmers will have access to a consistent, supportive, and thoughtfully designed environment.

What’s Coming

The Mini Nautical Center will allow for:

  • year-round access to inclusive swim instruction
  • a controlled and sensory-aware environment
  • consistent learning without seasonal gaps
  • expanded access for families who need it most

This is about building a space where every swimmer belongs.
