Coach Marla was amazing! We enrolled our 5-year-old and 2-year-old with her, and they made amazing progress in just a handful of lessons. Our 5-year-old can now jump into the deep end, swim to the edge of the pool, and climb out all on his own (in addition to being better at swimming in general). Our 2-year-old got acclimated to swimming and is eager to learn more (previously she didn’t want to put her head under water). We have done other swim lesson programs in the area and were very disappointed with them. It was a relief to find Coach Marla, who really connected with the kids and it was clear she followed a thoughtful pedagogy in her instruction (not just splashing around). Can’t recommend her enough! Our kids miss her, and we’ll be signing up for more classes.
